12th Holy Night: Jan 05 – 06

12 holy days - 12th night

Tonight the moon is in the sign of Sagittarius. The teacher’s teacher. This night we focus on the month of December 2016. Preparation for a New Year. Dreaming with the Moon in Sagittarius is associated with knowledge, so tonight we will incubate a dream about what our souls need to know right now. Use the day to meditate on the incubation and make it your own. (accessible exclusively for logged-in MoreMindfunda members!)

The Soul is an intuitive concept. You may feel you have a soul, connected with you through centuries. You may never have felt connected with your Soul. I know when I started reading the Red Book, it made me more aware of the Soul. But when I incubated dreams about the Soul, I blocked. It was hard for me, maybe it was just too abstract. So I have been thinking the last couple of days, how I could be able to create an incubation that would lead you through a concept of finding your Soul. “Isn’t that what life is about?” I told myself, Isn’t life a journey to define and re-define your Soul every day?

What is the Soul? Core consciousness? True Self? Our Divine Part(s)? The highest being you can be? When I was dreaming about the Red Book, I made a drawing of what I believed the Soul is: the veiled one. So in dwelling over this problem this day, I concluded that I would write an incubation for a dream that summarizes your experiences. All the nights of incubation, of dwelling on spiritual growth, al the dreams you collected.

I want you to take the dreams, read them again and dwell on them. Their feelings, their emotional color, their images, the themes in your dreams. Consider them a mosaic, that create an image together. You could even try to make a poem or a sentence with the word you attribute to each dream. The word that represents the dream the most. I have seen once that artist David Bowie writes songs that way. He lays pieces of paper with words written on them on the table and starts making sentences.
Whatever you decide to create from the harvest of dreams you gathered these past 11 nights, take the mosaic and tie a bow around it in your favorite color. It is your present for you. Your dreaming mind knows what it is doing.

Tonight, when you retire, think about the dreams you had so far. Dwell on their feelings, feel how they connect. Feel how they are separate issues in their own right.

You go down from your head to your body. You mentally entangle your body with an imaginary golden spiral that removes all the stuff you picked up today that does not suit you. Remove it gently, and let it go down into Mother Earth though your Root chakra.

While breathing regularly, relax your body and check how your body is feeling. Do you need more energy in some places? Sent those places your golden light. Gently kiss those places in your mind. Sooth your lovely body and thank it for moving you around. Let Golden Light flow into your body from the top side of your head and guide it downwards to your toes. Connected from heaven to earth.

Now it is time to count down from 10 to one. With each breath you go down your stairs again and with the count of one you reach your Life Tree. How lovely, magnificent and wise she is. You feel how you have nurtured your Tree, and how much the Tree loves you back. You feel the energy floating between the two of you. It is a healthy healing energy that keeps you grounded and focused. You know that you can go back to this nurturing image anytime when you need advice or comfort.

Now a man is walking towards you, an archetypical wise old man. He is worlds’ most gifted teacher. Tonight he will give you a special gift. You make eye contact. There is a special kind of energy between the two of you, you both go back in time. Centuries back in time. You take the time to experience being in his presence again. But now time has come to ask him for a gift. His gift of wisdom for you. This is the teacher’s teacher. You hold out your hand to receive his gift, while you ask him: “What does my soul need to know right now?”

dreams of this night

Reading poetry

I am visiting with my niece and in the room were I can spent the night I find a collection of poems. I start reading them and while I am doin this, my nice walks in and we start reading together.

I like this dream for many reasons. I put an article on facebook about dreams that stated that people can not read in dreams. It got a lot of response from peole saying that they could read. And this night, I am reading in a dream myself. It is funny…
Poetry: I have never been very much inclined to read poetry. In high school I liked the poetry of Baudelaire: in his poem Parisian dream he refkects on the trouble of waking up and getting adjusted to the cruel world.

Urban Crone (Lidia Tremblay I did not have any dreams last night that I can remember. However, I am working on the summary of what these 12 Holy Nights of dreams and meditations have taught me. I shall post that when I’m finished.

Susanne – poetry is, to me, paintings in words. I love your dream, especially when such moments are shared.

Susanne: Thank you for your feedback. You are welcome to share your insights today or tomorrow when I will invite everyone to share their insights on their own dreams and the dreams other people have shared.

Woke to this song in mind

Paul Simon – Slip Slidin’ Away
Slip slidin’ away
Slip slidin’ away
You know the nearer your destination
The more you’re slip slidin’ away
I know a man
He came from my home town
He wore his passion for his woman
Like a thorny crown
He said delores
I live in fear
My love for you’s so overpowering
I’m afraid that I will disappear
Slip slidin’ away
Slip slidin’ away
You know the nearer your destination
The more you’re slip slidin’ away
I know a woman
Became a wife
These are the very words she uses
To describe her life
She said a good day
Ain’t got no rain
She said a bad day’s when I lie in bed
And think of things that might have been
Slip slidin’ away
Slip slidin’ away
You know the nearer your destination
The more you’re slip slidin’ away
And I know a fa-ther
Who had a son
He longed to tell him all the reasons
For the things he’d done
He came a long way
Just to explain
He kissed his boy as he lay sleeping
Then he turned around and headed home again
Slip slidin’ away
Slip slidin’ away
You know the nearer your destination
The more you’re slip slidin’ away
God only knows
God makes his plan
The information’s unavailable
To the mortal man
We work our jobs
Collect our pay
Believe we’re gliding down the highway
When in fact we’re slip slidin’ away
Slip slidin’ away
Slip slidin’ away
You know the nearer your destination
The more you’re slip slidin’ away
Slip slidin’ away
You know the nearer your destination
The more you’re slip slidin’ away

The exit

Chuck, my husband, and I are planning to meet at an outdoor sports arena / park on New Years Day. It is mostly empty of people. The food vendor is closed but I have brought us a snack. There are several police patrolling the area. I see Chuck arrive on the street on the opposite side of the complex. He is on a hill, I can see him up higher than me.

I start to make my way over to him. I enter the food vending area even though it is closed, and snake my way through the ordering and food pickup areas. It seems odd that I can get in there even though it is not open. I wonder what I am doing. By the time I exit, Chuck is waiting outside this area.

We stroll around the complex awhile, and run into Josh, a really friendly young guy we know in real life who works at a local retreat / conference center. We’re all glad to see each other and we walk around and talk awhile.

Then the police announce that it’s time for everyone to leave. We three go to the gate to exit. The police want to see drivers licenses. Chuck goes through first with his. I have mine, but I am behind Josh who doesn’t have his. The police take him away to put him in jail because he doesn’t have his license. Then they let me through. I can’t believe they are taking Josh to jail. I don’t know why I can’t stop them, but somehow Chuck has some information that could prevent Josh’s going to jail. But Chuck wasn’t paying attention and didn’t know Josh was being taken away.

When I caught up with Chuck and told him what happened, he initially didn’t want to do anything. But then he relented, went back and showed the police his drivers license which contained some bit of information that allowed Josh to be released. I was relieved. Josh was grateful. But I was also dismayed that I had to persuade Chuck to do this, that he wouldn’t just automatically help our young friend.
End of dream

This dream feels like my waking life, and is perplexing to me. The dream seems shallow and gray. Maybe it is pointing out on the surface the dynamics and disappointment I have with my husband at times. But I expect on a deeper level that there are parts trying to avoid something, responsibility?

Curious, looking at Carol’s post, slip sliding away, perhaps the energy of the 12 nights is becoming less available.

If this were my dream, my inner (and outer) marriage to me are like a sports game. There is no nutrition, but I brought my own snack. I look up to my husband (he is on a hill) but he is too far away.

You are able to get to the nutrition and your husband is in reach now, in the second scene of the dream. Altough he is still not near the things that feed you.
You run into a friend that can give you a retreat, a time off. But you are not allowed the time off, because of the rules. They are are harsh rules: you hav eto identify yourself, show the rulers your identity. Your husband shows his identity: his drivers licensce: he is allwoed a place in the drivers’ seat. But the guy that represents the release, the retreat, can not live by these strickt rules.  And your husband needs to be convinced to not always obey the maybe unwritten rules of your marriage, of your relationship. You can fool around with each other. Without papers. Or identity. Or police.

Remember Vicki: this is my interpretation of your dream. You ae the only one who can attribute true meaning to it.
