Have you ever had a dream so vivid it felt like a glimpse into the future? I woke one December night in 2008, breathless from a haunting dream. I was standing outside a hospital room, gazing through a window. Inside lay a frail young boy, bound to his bed, while a surgeon with cold, calculating eyes entered the room. With dread, I knew this surgeon meant harm. The boy vanished—escaping, I hoped—only for the surgeon to follow my upward glance to the ceiling, where I’d seen the boy’s shadow. A dark realization gripped me as I woke: the boy would not survive.

That dream stayed with me, even more so as it took on a painful meaning months later when I stood by my father’s hospital bed, bidding him farewell. The Holy Nights had called to me, a time long considered sacred, when the veil between the worlds is said to thin, and dreams reveal insights into the year ahead. I realized I wasn’t alone in my experience and began focusing on these dreams in a structured, symbolic way—eventually creating the Holy Night Event each year. This years’ edition is Guided by the Star: A Holy Night Dream Journey.

Since the Middle Ages, the twelve days and thirteen nights around Christmas (December 25 – January 6) have been a period for reflection and insight. Ancient tradition holds that each night correlates with a month of the coming year, and the dreams that surface offer guidance for the months ahead. In this unique, guided event, we dive deep into these “holy nights” as opportunities for personal growth, spiritual insight, and connection to our inner wisdom. Each year, our theme explores universal symbols, archetypes, and mythology, drawing on timeless stories like King Arthur and Camelot as well as the sacred figures of the Three Wise Men.

I’m not religious, but I embrace spirituality as a quest to uncover and hold onto the inner spark. In the Holy Nights, we celebrate the rebirth of light, symbolized by the Divine Child. This journey begins with the flame within and follows the guiding star toward universal symbols that resonate within each of us. This year’s journey involves connecting with Mother Mary as our inner goddess and Joseph as the embodiment of unity through vision.

Each night, we engage with a new archetype and its gifts: from Gaspar’s gift of gold, representing earthly treasures, to Balthazar’s myrrh for healing, and finally to Melchior’s wisdom, bringing clarity and understanding. We honor the light within, yet we also acknowledge the shadow it casts, exploring King Herod’s role as a symbol of the ego, alongside the grounded humility of the shepherds.

How It Works
Each day, you’ll receive a unique blog post guiding you through that night’s archetype and symbol. At night, an audio incubation leads you to explore these symbols in your dreams. The next morning, you’ll have the chance to share your insights in a private Facebook group of like-minded seekers.
