The Holy Nights are the twelve days and 13 nights around Christmas time, starting Christmas Even December 24th and ending on January 6th 2021. Each of these nights would prepare you for the coming year. This is an unproven, unscientific assumption. But it is a charming idea, and some dreamers have experienced remarkable dreams during this time. For me, it is always a time that I take to recharge my body and soul. I clear my mind from all that has happened last year. Covid 19, the loss of a sister, the loss of an uncle who was the brother of my mother, a year in which I had to redefine myself.
This year Odin also known as Wotan will be the guide in our spiritual journey. I chose Odin because he is a shaman able to navigate between different worlds of perception. The world of the living and the world of the death. During the shortest day and the longest night of the year, it is Odin who rides the sky together with Frau Perchta, who was out guide in the Holy Nights 2017. Three years ago we explored the Wild Hunt lead by a Goddess, now we are going to be guided by a God.
What is in it for you? The previous alines talked about my personal experiences, but I am writing this for you. This year, 2020, has been a challenge for all of us. If you are interested in mythology and in dreams this is the event for you. If you feel isolated, left in the dark and f you are interested in dreams and mythology this will be a way in which you can invest in yourself by gaining knowledge into your own (dream)symbology and invest in an online Christmas celebration that lasts for twelve days.
The investment is minimal: an open mind, a pen and paper next to your bed and a willingness to share dreams online on a private forum with others. You will step inside a mythological world and gain access to a deeper meaning of life. If you are lucky, you will gain access to a spiritual roadmap for the next year. The forum where you share your dreams will be accessible the next year so you can always, each month, come back and reread your dreams with an open mind. This is a perfect way to learn more about your own dream symbols.
